Anyone have a vegetarian "chicken fried steak" recipe?

About the only thing I miss from my meat eating days is chicken fried steak. Of course not enough to go back and eat it though! I finally found a restraunt in Richardson, TX that makes a veggie chicken fried steak sandwhich, but to get the patties you have to buy a $30 bag that they didn't seem to "really" have for sale. So, to make a long story short, does anyone have a recipe for veggie chicken fried steak?

Ps The restraunt said it's soy, but I don't know how to go about making it up on my own.

I sure hope someone out here knows how to make it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!!

I bet you could use any "firm" veggie burger and follow the traditional recipe (and making substitutions if needed for vegan, such as rice or soy milk for Cows milk etc). My guess would be a Bocca type burger would work the best.

Thank you so much! I'm going to try this tomorrow. If I actually do get to stick to this plan I'll let you all know how it turned out!
