BP 117/72
babys heart beat was 130's and 140's
measuring 40 weeks
no protein or sugar in urine
a little pitting edema, but it has reduced since last week
I lost 2 pounds since my last visit putting me at a total gain of 16 pounds
midwife estimated current baby weight at "about 8.5 pounds, maybe a little more"
I was asked if I had any feeling of when I would go into labor, if my instincts were telling me anything-- well they aren't LOL are your instincts telling you when I will go into labor?

Sounds like you're doing great!

I had my 37 wk and 3 day appt. yesterday.

BP 120/80
measuring 40 1/2 weeks
baby's heartbeat 150
have gained 25 lbs

Am most likely going to schedule an induction for the 5th (two days before I'm due) because the OB is on call that day, I am soooooooo miserable, it would be easier to plan care for my daughter, and having the baby on the weekend would mean more time off for dh. I've not met any of the other 8 obgyns, so I would really like to have the dr. I've been seeing all this time. Does that make me a horrible person?

I find that the last few weeks of pregnancy last longer than any other time in my life. There's no chance of induction this time as I'm having a homebirth. I can't be trusted with the temptation of induction. I hate it and regret it every time (well, I've only done it twice). Anyway, I have NO clue when I'll go into labor. I'm not due for another month anyway. Ds1's birthday is Feb 16 and he'll be 13. He's hoping his brother will be born that day but I don't konw. I have only gone early once. My LMP due date is Feb 10 but I extimate my due dat at Feb 20 so we'll see......
