? about nursing frequency

DD is 20 months and very independant and a true wants-what-she-wants-when-she-wants-it type of girl. ( I have no idea where she got that ) Anyway, I was wondering if it was just par for the course that she should be not wanting to nurse as much these days. We are CLW and I am a little disappionted that she is nursing so little. (2-3 times a day and once at night)
I was just wondering if I am not doing enough to get her to nurse more or if this is just the natural course of things.

My ds was still nursing 6-8x a day at that age, if we were home together. He'd drop down to 4x a day if we were traveling and staying away from home.

You might want to look at your lifestyle and see if you are going too many places or are too busy. If not, this might just be a stage. If she gets sick she may start nursing more and keep nursing more once she is better. She may be able to get a lot of milk nursing 4x a day even if your breasts are soft.
