buying yarn online?

does anyone buy their yarn online? where do you? and mostly is there any price reduction?
Of course I like the most expensive luxurious thick beautiful yarn, theres only one place here to buy yarn and its so expensive (what with no competion).
Please show me where to shop!?!?

I buy organic yarn, and you can pretty much only buy it online. You should try and see if you can go directly to the yarn company you like most. With me it is Rowan's wool. I am going to see if they have a web store and I will let you know.

I love www.elann.com . They have great prices and are mostly responsible for the bit of stash I have. They post new stuff daily at 8am CST, which appears in the 'what's new' section; you can sometimes see previews in the link to the far right of the homepage. They also have a yarn search feature, so that you can search by fiber content, gauge, etc. Also lots of patterns and needles!

I haven't be disappointed with anything I've bought from them. The colors are usually accurate, though I often double-check with other websites via a google search. I usually get packages within two to three days of ordering.

I just bought some wonderful og color grown yarn from The Chamomile Connection online. She sells on ebay and has a web site. A mother of five children. She has a great og cotton chenille, that is thick. I can't wait to order more.
