How many mm are size 5 needles?

Hi! Quick question... how many mm are size 5 knitting needles? I have a pair that say they are 6.5 mm. Is this size five?

All brands seem to vary slightly as to how many mm any particular size is, but my size 5's are 3.75 mm. So, you would need significantly smaller needles. HTH
