Another yarn question-

I am sorry for asking another yarn question but I couldnt find my answer in other posts

I want to knit soaker shorts(well one day soon), really yummy soft but yet thick ones to go with my medium wetter. So is 100% merino my best bet?? Can it be a blend?? If so what type of blend and what brands of merino are best to buy or softest??? Thank you!!!

I'm certainly not an expert, but I love using Lamb's Pride Worsted for my medium-wetter's covers. It's a merino/wool blend and while it definitely pills, it's just a great hard-working yarn for our needs. I get it at my LYS, but I imagine it isn't that hard to find online too.

www.handpaintedyarn.com - a pure merino, but very very absorbent
www.marrhaven.com - minimally processed merino
www.beaverslide.com (my new fave) ramboullet, merino, mohair blend . Awesome!
