Suz: Congratulations and welcome to the world Leah!!! How exciting!

Shannon: I'm thinking of you and Molly as well. I hope to hear something wonderful soon!

Gretchen: I don't recall having lost my mucus plug with DS so I have no idea what the timing is on that.

Joy: Enjoy your chiro appt. We are waiting for a big contract check to come in and then DH and I are off to the chiro as well. I hope the stupid thing comes before the baby does. I could really use a massage as well. I bet I won't get one of those.

Elaina: Have your doc check them out, but they might just be ingrown hairs.

shyly: I am so sorry you had a tough night. I hope today is treating you better.

As for me, we spent the whole day at Disneyland yesterday. I'm less worn out then I expected. I spept like a rock though. And so did DS And now we are past the 35 week mark. Less than 2 weeks to go till we are cleared for homebirth. Yay!

I AM SOOOO LAZY!!! Anyone else?? I don't why I can't seem to get any energy. It is getting rediculous. I have a lot that needs to be done and no energy or motivation to do it! Am I the only one absolutely exhausted?!? I don't remember it being this bad with my last pg. Hopefully after the baby is born I will at least feel normal again!! I better go and see if I can get something accomplished! Will check back for an update from Shannon in a bit. Take care everyone!

Hi guys!
Molly Joan arrived at 3:10 PM, weighing in at 6 lbs 4 oz, she hasn't been measured yet but she's absolutely perfect!
My spinal never took completely but I refused the general cause I didn't want to miss anything, so it was really very painful, but worth every second, I'll come back later with more info.

Congratulations Suz, Deb & Shannon!

Peri -- I'm hoping everything goes well. I, too, seem to have an awful lot of fluid (hence the still flipping baby) -- luckily (at least today) baby is presenting head down today (was it the bladder 67, the inverted cat pose, the visualization or just that my monkey wasn't ready to turn) -- woohoo -- no external version tomorrow! So, maybe your young'un just has too much room to play and isn't ready yet.

Hope everyone else is feeling better soon!

Curious to see how many of us go on the full moon (ds was a blue moon baby). I'll be surprised if I do, this pregnancy and child are so different from ds -- I'm thinking New Moon for this kid!

Hugs to all those babies!

Yay!!!! Congratulations to Twinmom on the birth of baby Joe!

Shannon, I'm so excited and happy for you! Congratulations! Welcome Molly, your mama has been waiting a long time for this day to arrive. I know you're going to treasure that baby girl Shannon, so I don't need to tell you to snuggle her, but give her an extra one from me! I'm sorry about the spinal, that sounds yucky, but glad that it is over and everyone is okay.

Happy birthday babies!

Wow!!! So many babies! Welcome to the world Leah, Molly and Joe!!!

(Hey, my EDD is the same as TwinMom's! WHere's my baby :LOL )

Today I had my 38 1/2 week appt. Belly measured 34-35, but baby had dropped, so they considered that growth. I am 2 cm diltated, and 75% effaced. Maybe that full moon will do something for me! I have a thread on the Midwives and Doulas forum asking about induction, but I'd like advice here as well. Baby is supposedly on the small side, and has been since about 34 weeks. They have been monitoring her, and there was a good possiblity of early induction. Now I'm not sure what to do. The Dr. said I could induce Friday if I wanted (full 39 weeks) or wait until next week. He just doesn't want me going over the 40 week mark, incase something is wrong w/ baby's nutrition, and that is why she isn't growing well. I have no idea what to do! Part of me wants to give her more time to grow, and part of me just wants her here to make sure she is safe, and growing well on Mama Milk. ALso, it would be very convenient to induce b/c of our business (only have to shut down one day), we would have a place for DD to go, I wouldn't have to worry about getting to the hosptial on time (we live an hour away, and DD came in less than 6 hours, at 8.4lbs). Give me some advice!!!

Well, hope the day isn't too depressing! How could it be with so many new babies around Congrats to all the new mamas

Wow. Thats so neat that you came on here to tell us
So, think you'll be having some nookie in the hospital before discharge?

When is the full moon? My midwife says she sees lots of babies the day AFTER the moon is fullest.

That's a lot to worry about FreeThinker. I can't really put myself in your shoes since I'm such a procrastinator that I even like to put off my births (as if it's up to me). My personal response would probably be just to wait and see. My SIL has small babies and her baby was even measuring small on u/s. He was 2 weeks late and she had her first two early! AND he was her biggest baby at 7 lbs 2 ounces.

I had a great midwife appointment. I'm measuring 38 weeks and everything is fine. I was a little concerned about my BP. It was high for me, but it wasn't above the magic 140 (it was 138) so she wasn't concerned. I'm just taking it easy right now. I had a horrible time trying to schedule my next appointments and the lady was really nasty so I said screw it and I'm not going back to the army clinic. I'm just going to finish out my prenatal care with my homebirth midwife.

I'm really upset because I burned dinner. I just want to go to bed, but now I have to figure out something else to eat...and I haven't even finished ironing DH's uniforms. I wish we could just order out or something.

Congratulations to everyone on your new babies. I can't believe we're starting now! I hope you have a wonderful time bonding with your new babies and an easy recuperation Susan and Shannon.
