interchangable circular kneedles

I saw a thread about this a while back.
But way bach then I wasn't interested in buying four different sizes on circular kneels Now I need them and am wondering what you all think?
Are the interchangables worth it?
Also do you prefer wood to plastic/metal. If so do you still like the interchangables?

I got a set of Denise Interchangeables for Christmas and I love them! Before I got them I was knitting with metal needles, mainly Addis. At first I wasn't so sure if I would like them, especially since Addis are so nice but once I got used to them I was very pleased. I actually prefer them to anything else now.

A little pricey but it costs more for 4 sets of Addis than my Denise kit. And it comes in a nice case.

I love my denise set. You can get them cheaper on ebay, a seller named coppermouse usually has the best price as a BIN.

I bought a Denise set about a year ago and promptly gave away my (huge) collection of Susan Bates circulars. Then, about 8 months or so ago, I bought a pair of Addis, and now that collection is growing and I hardly touch my Denises. I find the Addis much more smooth, but for the price of the Denise kit, it's a great way to get needles in a bunch of sizes fairly inexpensively.

Oh, and I did have a set of the aluminum Boye interchangeables, which I sold to someone else because I couldn't stand them. Even using the little key and gripper thingies to tighten them the needles wouldn't stay connected to the cables. What a pain!

I almost bought them this week!! I'm getting so tired of never finding the right needle size in my stash, and then buying new ones... again!
