Hairspray worked on ink stains for me. Just spray it on, let it dry and wash it.

okay, i've got to go to the store to get some hairspray. proably the cheap stuff would work best, there is more junk in it. thanks! i'll let you know how it goes...

stains are always so very interesting to figure out, aren't they?

I've had good luck with glycerine soap but only on fresh stains. My dd has an obsession with pens so I get to use this technique rather frequently . Just cold water, soap, and scrub, scrub, scrub...

Rubbing alcohol, that is what is in the hairspray that draws the ink out.

Also my experience.. Cheap aerosol can hairspray works better than the pump... Better saturation.. We keep a can of aqua net in the laundry room bc dh does computer repair.. And printer ink SUCKS!!

Yes! This is what works. Pour it on and in a minute or 2 it will be almost gone. Do it again if neccessary.

It also will clean out the dryer drum, when dh decides to help and throws in a cheap gov't pen.

I just got a big inkstain out with a stain stick (I can't remember the brand). It hadn't been through the dryer, but had been sitting for a while. I rinsed as much of the ink out as I could with liquid soapand then applied the stain stick.

I've had luck with hairspray in the past - but the stain stick works wonders and is relatively non-toxic.
