Fisherman's wool

Thread Starter
Does it need to be lanolinized at first? What about after KA dying? I knit a soaker and corcheted another, dyed them, and now am thinking about knitting one from another pattern (if I can get this "in the round" thing figured out!).

Also, what size needles work well with it? I used 7s, and E hook, but there are some tiny gaps. Is this OK or will they leak?

OK, enough questions for one post!

TIA

It shouldn't need lanolizing if you don't do anything to it because it's virgin, with the lanolin still in it. However if you'd like to KA dye it, I believe you have to strip the lanolin first. And then re-lanolize after dying.
