RIGHT TURNS ---> ? anyone read this?

I bought a book by Michael Medved, an autobiography, Right Turns, in which he tells about his interesting life full of contradictions.

He attended Yale Law school and graduated with no one less than Bill and Hilary Clinton, among others...he coached Barbra Streisand's son for his Bar Mitzvah, and is a movie critic, talkshow host, and resident of Seattle, WA after living in CO, CA, PA.

I heard he was going to be local, so I got the book signed and got a chance to speak with him.

I do not agree with everything he talks about, but he is articulate and sharp.

Wouldn't this world be a bore if everyone agreed with everyone??

I just finished this book yesterday. After the election, I was feeling rather adrift in the political world. Medved's book was just what I needed to read. I *am* conservative, by his definitions, and I'm ok with that. It doesn't make me stupid, or ill-informed, or lacking in compassion.

I emailed Medved to let him know Dobson advocates child abuse, but that's about all that bugged me in his book. I am especially glad he speaks out for decency in programming.

I would like to share with you that I met Mr. Medved at the Burbank Media Mall on 1/24/05 and got him to sign my book! He broadcasted his show from that location. I was so happy!

I also do not agree with Medved about everything; I agree with you about Dobson. Someone highly recommended his parenting methods to me and I ran out, got and read his books, and I was very disappointed. I stayed away from the person who recommended his books.

Yes, I got to chat with him...intelligent guy, but tired, I was one of the last people in line at 4:00 pm.

I listen to him on my days off and often at lunchtime...I am a school teacher.
