With DD she didn't start really cutting back/skipping days until about two months before I considered her weaned. Then, in March 2003 she said she couldn't get any milk anymore. Now, this did not bother her while I was pg (and there was TONS of milk) so I suggested maybe that meant she was ready to stop. She agreed, nursed one more time and we considered her weaned. She asked to nurse (and I let her try) many times over the next around 18 months (sometimes a couple times a week, sometimes a month or more would pass) but she hasn't really tried since last summer at this point. DS has "invited" her to join him a couple times and she thinks about it and even opens her mouth and then just shrugs it off and decides not to. I think she is really, really, really weaned now.
