I'm starting to feel like my son is the only child his age who nurses so much!! Is it "normal" for a 3yo to have breastmilk for breakfast (or breastfast, as Leah called it yesterday :LOL )
It just feels like I'm always deeling with fullness/oversupply- one day he'll nurse tons and get my supply way up and then the next he'll nurse far less and leave me feeling like a water balloon all day. When he was an infant, I'd pump at these times but I really don't want to start dealing with that again. I guess I'm a little jealous of the women who talk about CLW and never feeling any breast discomfort because their dc weaned so gradually. Of course, I know I could have this same breast pain even if I wasn't nursing anybody, but it's still hard not to feel discouraged at times.

She always nurses first thing in the morning, and often doesn't eat anything else until later in the day (breastfast! I love it!) Then she always nurses before her nap, sometimes after it too; and before bed. She also nurses at least 2 or 3 other times during the day when Marcos is eating (how can she resist?) So that's 6-7 times a day, more if she's getting sick or something.
