Velveteen, best of luck to you. You must be a strong and brave woman. (As are all of us on this thread in particular, I think.) We tried for what seemed like forever with our first, and it definitely wears on you individually and as a couple. I thought b/c I was 37 when we started that it would be easy. Ha. You will know when you've had enough, and til then keep on trying!
I just know that I definitely feel my age with this baby. All the up and down off the floor to interact with him or clean up after him is taking its toll on my knees. When I turned 40, my dad kept saying "lordy, lordy GM's 40" and now I am saying "lordy, lordy, I FEEL 40!" LOL.
Joan, I do all those same things during the 2ww, plus the progesterone causes alot of the same symptoms (sore breasts in particular) so it's a double whammy! I think everyone does that tho, every little twinge in your body makes you wonder.
Polka, good luck with your tests. Good thing they delayed the HSG for you - all in good time, as they say. I had one a couple of years ago, and it wasn't too bad. I took a lot of ibuprofen beforehand, and went home and lazed around afterward rather than going back to work. I am a "princess and the pea" when it comes to pain in that area, too. My DH had his "swimmies" tested last time. He absolutely refused to discuss it afterwards. (I had a kind of a morbid curiosity to know how he managed it - I think it would be very difficult.
