Another habit I picked up from the challenge- I have 2 10x10 pans. I now make two of whatever goes in the pan to bake. One goes in the oven for dinner, the other in the freezer for later. They are also perfect protions for us plus a lunch or 2 the next day.
For an example: shepards pie took 3 lbs hamburger, 3 can creamed corn and mashed tatos on top, baked in my 13x9" cake pan. It was devoured, no leftovers! Hey, there's a thread idea.....
