yes, yes, yes go for it. you can even boil it down more to have a creamier, thicker yogurt. we always boil milk before making yogurt, i guess because in india you have to boil it since it's not pastuerized.
Well, I didn't get a response soon enough so I just went ahead and used it to make a batch. WOW! It's so thick and creamy. It's the consistancy I have been trying to accomplish since I started making my own. Thanks so much, at least I know it's ok to keep doing.
