My ds, 26 mths, gets "sick" every 5 weeks. He starts with the runny nose and then it develops into a hacking cough. The whole process usually last about a week from start to finish. I keep attributing it to teething. He still doesn't have his back molars and he has 4 more that are not completely in. He gets adjusted regularly ( I'm a chiropractor), still breastfeeds a lot
, eats nutritiously (no junk, no dairy, no processed foods, etc), and gets enough rest. He doesn't go to daycare but does attend Montessori 3 mornings a week for 3 hours. I don't think it is school because it happened even before he started going. Has anyone else experenced teething like this? I would have posted this under dental, but I thought I'd get a more diversified response here. Like I said...I think it's his teeth. I just can't figure out what else might be so predictable time-wise. It really happens every 5-6 weeks. Weird! Thanks for the help. Dawn
