I think this one is better than her last one. but JMO

it's called Knuckle Down

is it another totally solo one? even for her, this is a pretty quick release since the last one. On the last one I loved the spoken word Grand Canyon poem, and the one about 'there's this brutal imperial power that my passport represents, but it will never represent where my heart is, only vaguely where it went..." that was my sig for awhile.

why why why when you get error message saying your reply can't be posted, does the darn thing post anyway?

I've listening to it once, I'm not sure. Think so.

I read a great review of the new album recently! I have to run out and get it today!

Thanks for the heads up! I don't get much music browsing done over here in BabyLand, so the new releases are new to me for a WHILE. :LOL

I actaully Evolve. I know her sound has changed a lot and some feel like she's changed too much for them to still love her, but I love her more and more with each album. Even if I don't love each song, I love how open she is with her creative development. She creates and puts it out there, and we can like it or not. Just like always.

She's playing in my area soon and I'm sad to say I'm going to have to miss the show. DD is 8 mo and I thought she would be ready for me to go out, but now I'm thinking she's not. DH has never put her down to sleep for the night and I don't think it would go well. Bummer.

On that note, I'm thinking of writing RBR and suggesting they do a series of festival-like, day-time shows. It makes sense to me that a lot of her long time fans might have children now and wouldn't it be cool if we could bring our babes to see her???? I mean, c'mon Ani, surely you can appreciate me wanting to to expose my righteous babe to live works of The Original Righteous Babe!!! I think that would be so awesome!

I have heard that it is awesome!!!

Megan. you are so right that would totally rock!
I can't afford to pick it up right now, but I listening-station-ed it the other day, and it's great!

Educated Guess I never even bothered to get... I just didn't like the sound of it very much.

On the other hand, the Trust dvd (and Render, too).... oh-so-very good.....

peace,
alsoSarah

I haven't heard it yet and I know it's out. Eeek not like me to not have it already!

I look forward to hearing it though. I have them all! I've seen her about 8 oir 9 times now and none of it ever gets old. I have a hard time choosing my favorite CD because it totally depends on my mood.

What's your favorite song on it?

Great idea about the day time shows!!!!! I'd love ds to see ani...gotta get this cd right now!!!!!!!!! I'm going to go nuts!
I just wrote RBR and email suggesting the daytime, family-friendly shows. If anyone else if so inclined to write them, please do. It can't hurt and might make them see how many of us are out here.

I know they know we're breeding - have you seen these ? So cute!
