Does this happen to you?

I am feeling great all day, happy running around playing with my son, but as soon as my DH opens the door I feel SO tired and ready to be left alone, and just going to bed would feel the best! This is nothing against my DH!!

It is almost like my body knows that when he is home I can get some break. It is instant - as soon as I know he is home my body just turns itself OFF.

YES!!!!!!!!! I get the exact same feeling and it pisses my dh off. He wants a little bit of me when he gets home but, by that time, it's all been taken by the kids!

Ah, well the minute DH gets home, I'm OUTTA here. I'm off to a friends with my DS2 and DS4.

Let DH pick up the popcorn. As I said before, I just don't care.

Hmmm, I usually think "damn, he's coming home soon that means I actually have to do something".

:LOL Mine doesn't think that way. He thinks I do too much. We're celebrating our 5 year anniversary in 2 weeks.

Yup, I think this too. I run around crazy picking uo the house (or messing it up) to make it look like I actually did something :LOL

Well, the thing is that I know I've done plenty all day, but dh doesn't agree unless the house is clean.

He should know by now that if the house is still standing when he gets home and there are no holes in all the walls (b/c some holes is simply acceptable at this point) and the carpet is dry, I definately did a lot all day.

But, you know...

Oh yes, I sure do feel this way. And, as the legislative session gets further along and dh has to work later and later, it gets more dramatic. The worst is if he calls and says, "I'll be home in 10 minutes," and then isn't. Suddenly, I have NO patience. GRRRR. Don't offer some help and then don't deliver.

At least, dh does realize that the fact the house is still standing and everone is fed and clothed means that I've been working like crazy.

When dh gets home, it usually means I have more work to do so I can't get tired! It's time to cook dinner, eat, bathe kids, bathe self, etc...

Usually, I'll have a nice cup of coffee before he gets home so I'm up for the challenge...
