Congratulations!

I am a Montessori parent and teacher (primary and elementary, both AMI). It's wonderful being a parent!

I see that you are in Portland. I am not too far away (near Bellingham, WA) and used to live in Portland. I know some Montessori parents in Portland. PM me if you want to find them.

Will you finish your training this year? I used to be on the board at an AMI training center in MN and one year a student got pregnant at the beginning of the year. The trainer was so wonderful and encouraged her to bring her baby in to class with her. Like you, the baby was born just a bit before exams and graduation. The students just loved it! I'm not sure if the student took exams that year, or waited a year. She was thinking about both, but I can't remember which she decided on.

Good luck!
Ellen
