You sound like a SUPER mom to me. I never saw the point of getting really uptight about kids drawing on themselves. My dad used to draw on our hands and feet- we loved it I figure that's one of those things that different people have different rules on. If it bugs you, you don't let your kids do it... As for jumping on the bed- as long as it's safe, I'm all for it I have a friend who has a special routine with her kids - whenever they get to stay in a hotel, the first thing they all do is go jump on the beds.... Sounds like fun to me. And WOW- your son WANTS to make breakfast and your husband is complaining? What's his problem? You should deny your child the opportunity to do something he likes that helps the whole family? Where's the logic there?

Keep doing your own thing, don't let these crazys get you down.

Our rule is Goo can jump on HER bed after she removes all blankets and stuffed animals (I don't want her to twist an ankle)
