Check out the CDCA website, they will also give you referals to providers in your area. Look and see if they will accomodate special needs, also, call all of them. We ended up going with a smaller daycare center at a very charismatic church - which about killed me since I am an atheist - however, they take my daughter's allergy situation very seriously. They follow my directions exactly & call about questionable foods. Also, many of the teachers & aids learned to use the epi-pens. Finally, they LOVE my daughter for who she is, and they try to keep her safe.
I agree, finding a place is very difficult.
