I happened to catch an interview with Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives), where she was speaking to the interviewer about how she is a normal woman and not perfect etc...breatfeeding wasn't the topic of discussion, but I was happy to hear her jokingly say something like "of course I'm not perfect (her body), most of it is genetics, but I breastfed for 2 1/2 years so I need the push up bra now---or something like that....she seemed happy about it etc...
I thought it was a cool thing to say, I dunno, maybe it would help other people when talking to their "mainstream" type friends/family about extended breastfeeding to throw in, "hey, ya know that actress Teri Hatcher from Desperate Housewives who just won the Golden Globe? She breastfed her daughter for nearly 3 years..." kinda thing...
