I just read Joy's birth story and "WOW!!" is all I can say.

I went shopping today for the finishing stuff for my hospital bag. (travel toothpaste and a showercurtain for the car seat..Just in case!) I also picked up the cutest Care Bear panties for my big girl. She has been doing sooo well with using the potty.

So, who's next? :

Zander Ace Tipton was born at 9:47am on Friday, February 11, 2005 weighing 8 lbs and being 20 inches long he has blond hair and blue eyes...he wasn't as big as the CNM thought which makes me happy...Zander is perfect at 8lbs and he nurses like a pro...The C-section was some experience...Brian took pictures...I'll post them in a few days along with what I can remember of Zander's "birth"...my doctor decided to glue me...so I have no stitches or staples...we got home around lunch time today and Brian, Zander, and I were all starving...I fed Zander while Brian ate...and then Brian changed Zander's diaper while I ate...Zander has to see the doctor on Tuesday for a check-up and I have a check-up in a week...I'm in a lot of pain so I'm going to pace around the house some more...and then try to take a nap if Zander is still sleeping on his Daddy.

Congrats to all you new mama's!! There are so many of you!!
: : : :

Congrats to Elaina and Joy and Stell and Lisa and anyone else I missed! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your new babies!!

Well it is almost 11:30 pm here and I can't get to sleep. I laid in bed for almost 2 hours and it just isn't happening so here I am. I just keep thinking about the birth. I have all kinds of anxiety. Not really about the birth itself, just when it is ever going to happen. My due date isn't until tomorrow so I know it's not a big deal... I am just anxious to meet my new little one. And I guess I am a little anxious about the birth. My last one was just so long and hard. I am praying that this one will go much smoother than the last. I know it will because now I KNOW that my body can birth a baby naturally. (I had a section with #1.) It's just hard ya know?? Anyway, I could probably blab all night but I won't.
We are also having some issues in my state with the midwifery laws and so I may end up going UC. I am fine with that... just not as prepared as I would like to be. I have a prenatal in the morning to discuss everything with my midwife. It's been a stressful day thinking about it all, so I will be glad to get everything all sorted out in the a.m. Anyway, I better go or this could get pretty long and ugly!!

Congrats to all you new mommies and good luck to all those still waiting!! Hopefully soon!!
