Just looking for input, thoughts. It's very inexpensive and the reviews on it at HomeSchoolReviews are pretty positive.

I think this is a cheaper version of the Robinson Curriculum--- www.robinsoncurriculum.com -- which is basically a collection of public domain texts that cover major subjects. But because the texts are public domain they might feel a little too antiquated or dull for a child. Many of the public domain texts are available for free, online. You would essentially be buying a public domain e-library, where you would have to read the texts on the screen or print them out.

I like the philosophy of the robinson Curriculum, that children should be primarily self-taught and independent learners, but the public domain texts are an aside to that philosophy, it seems.

Thanks. In that light it doesn;t seem like a good deal at all.
