What do you think?
It may be too big to fit in our little house!

Here's the on I plan to get. Pretty small, but we have an old house with wood floors and a basement, don't want to overload it with weight!

I think that would be way too big for a home birth! You would have a hard time keeping the water warm. I purchased that size originally b/c I got a good deal. Once I set it up I realized how big it was...it took up most of the space in my bedroom. There would be no place for birth attendents, husband, kids (unless they all got in with you :LOL ) About half that size is better. I use the big pool in the summer for my kids now.

eta...Sevylor is very sturdy! You can really lean on the sides and have good support. My husband even sat on the edge with no problem.

I just got this one for my birth:http://www.qualityinflatables.com/58480.html

My mid-wife prefers this one but it is too big for our apartment, she said it was up to me which one:http://www.qualityinflatables.com/56493.html

I took a tape measure and laid it out on the floor to see how big they would be and see if I would like the smaller one and I think it will work fine. Now that I got it in and saw it in person I really think it will work well.

I recommend that site (qualityinflateables) if this is the size pool you choose to get. The other sites charge more for the same size pool. The round pool came to $28.44 with shipping and the shipping was fast and they gave me a tracking number. I was happy with the service.

You are right, the one at quality inflatables is much cheaper. I checked all the dimentions and stuff and it looks to be almost exactly the same as the pool on the site I linked to. Their shipping is even cheaper. The total came out to 29.07 on the quality inflatables site with shpping and on the other site it was over 45 dollars with shipping. Thanks for the link!

I am using the smaller version of that pool for my birth. I paid about $60.00 with shipping at shipstore. I paid the extra $ because I've heard several stories of fishy pools spilling when someone leans on it.

However, I think that the pool you linked to is HUGE! I'm sure it would take forever to fill and use up all of your hot water way before it was filled.

Also, Sierra Trading Post often sells seconds or slightly damaged materials. If you decide to go for it, I'd recommend contacting them first to make sure it's first quality.
