She thinks we're "well orchestrated" enough to be scared of, but just not quite well orchestrated enough to teach our children, apparently. Sad, strange little woman. To bad she can't channel all that energy into something more productive, like improving her own attitude and self-image.

Now I don't mean in anyway to offend anyone form Michigan, but it doesn't surprise me in the least that that is where the woman is from. I have been in Michigan on and off (mostly on for the last few months) and holy cow is this place corrupt and wacked out!!! For those who may know what I am talking about, perhaps this woman is also driving a state paid for Lincoln Navigator!!!
I'm not offended, but don't confuse the corruption scandals going on in Detroit for how things are in Michigan as a whole. Detroit has it's own set of problems -- sometimes it seems like a little third world country. (This northern city had to close schools for a week a couple of years ago because they lacked the resources to plow the roads after a heavy snow fall.) It's really sad what's happening there. For those who are not familiar with Michigan, we are not any more "corrupt and wacked out" than any other state.

Anyway, the crackpot who wrote this drivel is from Western Michigan -- no where near Detroit. The region she's in is a hotbed of religious right homeschoolers. That may be part of what troubles her, I don't know. She's so off the deep end with this stuff that I can't even bring myself to respond.

The thing that scares me is this freak is from my perfect homeschooling state of Michigan! Her venom is frightening, not intimidating, but scary to think who and what she could influence

You are so right. The corruption is actually not any one particular state as a whole, it just seems to be in large cities. Hey, anyone reading this in SE Wisconsin knows the baloney that has been going on in Milwaukee too. Although, not near as bad as Detroit. Perhaps this looney lady who wrote the article is really from Detroit, or any other major city. I really, really didn't mean to offend anyone here. I had also replied with that post on a particulary "bad experience" day with many people in the Detroit area. Ya know what I mean? One of those days where you wonder why the moron bus dropped everyone off by you.

Does anyone know if she is going to be making this a regular thing to preach about?

From the article:

Another young man responded in a very scary manner, spewing propaganda about the "corrupt system of public schools." He has truly been brainwashed, and obviously knows nothing about public schools. What a shame. Ignorance is not always bliss.
!! She thinks it's *homeschooled* kids who are brainwashed?!

I used to live in western Michigan, although in Kalamazoo, not Holland which is where this dingbat lives. From what I recall of that area, it's very conservative and has a depressed economy. I remember the local news was always full of terrible stories about Muskegon, MI, a city close to Holland. The stories were always about crime and poverty, and if I recall correctly, problems in the public schools.
