What supplies do I need?

Hi all! I am planning a homebirth in 7 weeks! The baby has been breech up until this point so I didn't allow myself to start the planning but now she's flipped and I better get started on it. What all do I need? I have an inflatable birthing pool but that's about it so far. Thanks for any input! Oh also I am on a VERY limited budget so I only want to get what's really necessary and the cheap versions of those things. Thanks!

Honey, nothing's necessary 'cept you and the baby.

But a few things are nice to have. In the birth room I had gathered:

lots of clean towels
camera and film
sterilized scissors for cutting cord
white baby shoelaces for tying off cord
tarp for underneath the birth tub
new hose and special faucet attachment (if needed) for filling tub
fetoscope
foam pad to kneel on
receiving blankets and baby cap
diapers
bowl for placenta
low wattage light bulbs
baby thermometer
bulb syringe
heating pad

Are you haveing a midwife or are you going UA? If you are having a midwife ask her. They usually have thier preferences.

Here is what I had for mine:
baby cap
underpads
alcohol
peri bottle
bulb syringe
thermometer
iodine
tape measure
birth certificate (for the baby book) and foot p rinter
pads
tarp (we used a shower curtain)
cord clamps
sitz bath mix (comfry, lavender, rosemary, chamomile)

And a good supply of blankets and towels

I paid about $30 for my kit. i got it from Spirit Led childbirth and parenting supplies. Thier stuff is pretty cheap. You can reach them at 888-683-2678.
