I was sick all week with the flu...my first flu by the way and I'm 47 years old

anyway, I don't think I have watched this much television in one week since I was a kid...but in all my viewing I found this movie.

HIV Test is a fraud

In Africa, virtually no one is tested. The resources for HIV antibody tests are simply not available in most sub-Saharan African countries.

Instead, Africans are diagnosed with AIDS on the basis of clinical case definition which consists of a cough that is non-productive for about 30 days, fever, persistent diarrhea (again for about 30 days), and weight loss of greater than 10% of body weight (again for 30 days).

However, these identical symptoms can be caused by a number of diseases endemic in African countries. In fact, on the rare occasions when groups of African AIDS patients have been tested, over 50% have had the HIV negative condition.

AIDS is an incredibly political disease.

i believe it was the movie, "The Band Played On', I am not sure, I could be wrong, but it was about the American scientists and the French scientists in a race to identify the virus.

I know for absolute sure that most dentists knew about AIDS or at least the syndrome in 1977; my friend who has been a dental hygenist for years was in a meeting that year and told that there was this new 'disease', and in the meeting, she was instructed in the new precautions that would be used for protection against this new bloodborne disease.

So, the 1981 date is a bit late.

Also, a teenage boy died in St. Louis, MO very suddenly; his condition just started and precipitated to his death. He was 15. This was 1969. This story was recounted in Omni magazine. The doctors were so perplexed by his death, that tissues samples from his body were saved for research. So far, it has been determined that he was HIV+.

Another case was recounted on "60 Minutes" about a British Sailor from Manchester. He had visited the West coast of Africa, not as far South as the Congo. He returned to England, and his health deteriorated very rapidly. He died of the same kind of syndrome that many have when they die today of AIDS. This was in 1960.

Wonder if the vaccine condition of these two could be determined; I do not believe it will be an issue.

I remember reading one of Gitti's links that said that FDR's "polio" may not have been polio at all. I always wondered about him contracting polio at the age of 39 when everyone else seemed to contract it at a much earlier age.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing more of this information come out.

Hey, some scientist must have read that post too, here it is now in his words. And when a scientist says it, it must be so.

I believe FDR had chemical poisoning from DDT in upstate NY where they mass produced the stuff and dumped it into the lake - thinking what the heck - no one will ever know.

FDR got 'polio' after swimming in a lake in upstate NY.

Remember when they warned everyone not to go swimming? (Nop, you are all way too young.)
Dh remembers. His mom wouldn't let the kids go because they'll get 'polio'. Not knowing that the polio virus wasn't dangerous and they were nowhere near DDT production.

The 'polio epidemic' was only in upstate NY and it never spread.

OK. let's see if that scientist comes back and reads this post.

I remember being warned not to go swimming. I also recall the dime having the god Mercury on it. I recall the March of Dimes being the means to fund research for a cure/preventative vaccine against polio.

That is why the profile likeness of FDR is on the dime today.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing the documentary that Tracy is posting. I have long suspected AIDS, whatever it is, is the result of Western medicine tinkering with things it should stay out of.

I thought I might have beena ble to tape it today but there was too much crazimaking in my house. DH is now sick, I'm way, way far from 100 percent and DS has got a short fuse and I think an earache...anyway.... I'll see if I can tape it on the next go-round.

Next someone will blame variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease on some other vaccine instead of the jump in species from bovine to human.

unfortunately, Flagger. The scientists who were apart of the Belgian congo research hospital denied using chimpanezes kidneys for the polio vax...then they changed their mind and said they did use them.. Koprielsky denied using them but then Hopper found a document where he signed a document saying he did use them. This group of scientists seem to be less scientific than one would like to believe....or at the very least... sloppy.

by the way, the points in your link were laid out nicely in my other link..the one from the SF chronicle.....but I appreciate you offering up the 'other side'..but just wanted to let you know it was addressed in my link.

I have read that the man who developed penicillin on a large scale was rather sloppy in his techniques also. Yet he was very lucky also.

Unfortunately, there is still a great deal that we do not know about how viruses are able to jump from animals to man. Because this knowledge gap exists, it is easy for false "facts" to circulate.

I just watched the documentary....very very interesting. Extrememly well done. One thing that really stands out to me (in the documentary and in the links that Flagger posted) is that someone says "There is no link" and that is that. "Original samples were tested" but when the people wanting to test the theory ask to test original samples suddenly none exist. Eye witnesses who worked there say this and this and this and it is ignored with pat comebacks.
Very thought provoking....if indeed there is no link I want to see that data....not just get a smug pat on the head.
