my 2nd child got home from fishing with his father today. he is 3 1/2 years old and is my middle nursling. the first thing he says to me is "i want ninners, mommy, please" (we are working on "hello" first). so, as i was in a lighthearted mood i ask him to give me one good reason why i should nurse him...just one. i tickle him a little so he know's i'm playing. he looks at me and says "because i love you".
my heart melts.
that's one of the best reason i know of!
now, as i'm typing this, my oldest who just got home from school and just finished his afterschool snack, is asking me the same question. "ninners, please?" (i had already gotten the hello and kisses) so i ask him to give me one good reason why i should nurse him (i'm smiling as i say it). he says "because you love me!"
he's nursing now as i'm typing. i feel like i'm playing twister.
it's moments like these that last a lifetime!
