Hi, all. After a long start and stop prodromal labor that started Wednesday, it finally progressed to a slow steady labor by kicking in pretty good Sat night. We labored all day Sunbday and got to 9cm Monday morning 2 am, baby still high, so we transfered to the hospital. We ended up getting a c-section for our high in the pelvis posterior baby at 5:23 Monday (Valnetines Day). We are just home, quite tired, happy. Iris Celeste is here, cute, a great nurser. I of all people knows that some times birth doesn't work out the eay you wanted! I'm not that upset about the section, feel good about my labor.
Loved the water in labor! Anyway, I'll say more later, but she's 8lbs 7oz, lots of hair, 13 inch head (wit ha big drnt where she was stuck on my bones), and 22 inches long. Later, Heidi and Iris
