How many pillows do you sleep with at night now?

I thought I'd start a fun poll, nothing stressing or serious. And yes, this assumes you're sleeping! :LOL

While having my 4am insomnia period last night, I realized I'm up to 6 pillows!

• 3 regular bed pillows
• 1 Body pillow
• 2 small, square couch pillows

Boy am I some strategist to get in and out of bed. I didn't even know we had that many pillows in the house! :LOL

What about the rest of you?

Oh yeah, and I'm including the ones I'd use regularly for sleeping (which is two).

One king size between my legs, one underneath the hips, two in the general vicinity of my head and upper body.

I'm only using two pillows, one for my head and one between my legs but I've recently added a thick foam pad to the top of my side of the mattress. DH, dd (2 1/2) and I have been playing musical beds this whole pg trying to find a way for us all to get comfortable.

It's looking like baby on the way is going to get an amby baby hammock because dd 1 is nowhere even close to being ready to sleep in her own bed and I really can't seem to find any affordable and comfortable way to manage the family bed that would be safe for a newborn.

I desperately wish we had a bigger bed, my hubby and I share a full and it is just not big enough for me and my pillows. If I could choose I'd probably have at least 2 more!

But that's the way it is I guess. We live in a 1-bedroom house and we are currently adding 2 more but for now our 2-year old is sharing the room with us so his huge crib is in there and we don't have room for our queen waterbed.

We normally have 5 on our bed, and I usually utilize at least 3 of them. Last night, I also utilized my dh as a pillow...helped prop my leg up a little higher to help with that nagging pelvis pain. Sometimes I also bring in a smaller pillow from the sofa, and also use our ds as a cuddle pillow.

I said 5, but I really think I should get credit for 7 because all 5 are propped up on the couch arm, so I'm basically vertical (heartburn issues).

and i agree...it IS hard to get out of bed, roll over, manuever in any way with that many pillows. and dd sleeps cuddled up right next to dh since she can't get close to me anymore with all the pillows around!

Just two under my head to help with heartburn. They are propped to differing degrees against my headboard depending on how bad it is on any given night.

I only sleep with two under my head at night because I love to snuggle with my husband and don't want any pillows in the way. I'm also a little crunched up because the cat and dog sleep with us, too.

However, when I'm doing my relaxation or taking a nap alone, I'm all about pillows! Two under the head, one flat one under the belly, and one between my knees.

i just ordered an amby today! my 20 month old dd is still in our bed and is RoUGH at night. We moved a month ago, and her sleeping has gotten a LOT worse .. so for the safety of new baby in may, we went with the amby. i hope s/he likes it!
