"Still Nursing"

Dd was 3-1/2 this week. She made her first scrambled eggs today and was proud to make Dad's breakfast. She tells me "Nursing is my favorite."

Quite a victory, considering the sad posts of years ago, when I struggled with chronic low supply. Dd knows no world other than the one where she has to switch sides often, or sometimes wait for more milk to come. She tells me it's "delicious," obviously worth going to the trouble for. It has been worth it for both of us.

Thanks for all the support. I love wallowing in this stuff because, as I said, I didn't know if I'd be a nursing mother.

kirstie: you've figured us out!!!

bellee: Congratulations on your two. What was important to me was not the duration of nursing, but that it be Dd's choice of when to stop, whether it was 1 year or xxxyears.

Thanks again.
