UC in MidwiferyToday magazine

Bless their hearts, they are taking unassisted birth seriously. There's one article specifically about UC, by Laura Shanley, and it is mentioned elsewhere in the issue at least four times. Other good stuff too, focusing on interventions in birth.

Check it out: http://midwiferytoday.com/magazine/issue63.asp

Jan Tritton (editor of MT) is surprisingly supportive of UC. I never would have approached MT about writing an article but when they approached me I felt I needed to take advantage of the opportunity.

Still, I didn't think they would actually publish the article, or if they did publish it, I was sure they would edit it heavily (not only because of what I wrote but because I went way over their word limit). But they didn't edit it at all! It's an interesting issue. Definitely worth buying.

P.S. Now maybe Mothering will publish a UC article?
