morning everybody! it's been so busy here!

leta and amber - sorry to hear about your ds's and the jealousy. i imagine it's just an adjustment phase and not the terrible two's. my ds (two y.o.) is mostly fine with mia but then will suddenly do something odd like bite her fingers while pretending to kiss her. it is hard knowing they aren't your only baby any more. my heart hurts when i can see james feeling insecure (actually, this is true in relation to non-baby things as well such as when older kids won't play with him at the playground...)

amber - i hope you and the other overdue moms will be done soon with the waiting. it must make you totally crazy.

shannon - i'm so sorry that you are so sick and having so much trouble even with the diagnosis of what's wrong. i hope that you can get through the rest of the tests without much more trouble and find out what's going on.

joy - hope your parents are helpful. we had my sis in law here for the past week and she was terrific. cooked fabulous meals for us and took care of both babies a lot!!

we actually went to see a movie on sunday night - just the two of us - first time in two years! sis in law and one of the daycare teachers stayed with the two kids. i felt a little guilty -- after all, mia is only three weeks -- but dh said we really need to re-establish an "us" as a couple as well as a family.

well, baby wants to nurse - yup, boob coma, monica!

Mei snarfs milk out of her nose all night when she nurses in bed. Then she gags on it. Poor thing. I use a qtip to clean it out but I'm just too sleepy to sit up in bed so that doesn't happen. I hope she grows out of it. heh. Skanda used to do that too.

Morning all

Well Autumn has officially broken me in. She squirted yellow milk poo curdles at me this morning before I could get the new diaper on. She peed on my bed at the same time as well as her new blankie. Oh and last night around 2am...she spit up all down between my breasts because she was trying to burp and swallow at the same time.

Ahhh babies...such little sweethearts :LOL

I'm feeling 100 times better today. The horrible labor type cramps have for the most part finally subsided. I can't even tell I have a couple of stitches because they are healing beautifully. The only thing that hurts is my poor engorged breasts. No matter how much she nurses they still seem so full all the time. My tummy hurts too...so it's hard to walk for more than a few minutes at a time, but all in all I'm not complaining

Autumn had her first baby checkup yesterday and she's already back up to her birth weight at 4 days old. I was really happy to hear that...she is a nursing champ She looks awesome. Makes a mama real happy to hear that.

Shannon I am so sorry you are going through all this. Here is a

Joy: Hope your parents are a real help to you.

Everyone else...here is a And to all the pregnant mamas, here's an extra for you. I've been overdue with my last 2 babies, so I know what it feels like. You'll be holding your babes in just a few more days.

If anyone feels like a distraction, check out my hairstyle thread in TAO. You cank link to some truly horrible pictures of me in which I look like I haven't slept in 2 months....

Oh. Yeah. I haven't!

Baby scale came today and H was 8 pounds with clothing on!

Oh Shannon...I'm so sorry you are going through more troubles...but things will eventually be figured out so you, your husband, and Molly can all move on with your lives together.

Nothing new going on with Zander...Brian went back to work yesterday...he is having a rough time...Zander keeps us up at night and then Brian still has to be at work at 7...so he is not showering or eating before work...so he is even more out of it...and his unit is deploying very soon...so Brian has to figure out how to turn his job over to some GySgt...not to mention Brian packed half of our house up to move to Tenn...and we aren't even moving until April or May...

I had my baby today. Viola Rose was born at 4:21 am. We were at a birth center. My midwives were awesome. She was 8lb 11oz ans 21.25 inches long. It was a very fast birth compared to Gareth. So far Gareth is in love with her. I'm pretty wiped out now. I will post a birth story later.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Congratulations, Christi! Yes, a beautiful name!

Christi - I caught your announcement on the other thread, but I'll say it here, too..CONGRATULATIONS, and welcome, Viola Rose! I also love the name - so pretty! Another Rose, too! I haven't mentioned names at all here, but since we're getting close, Rose is one of my potential middle names. My maternal grandmother was a Rosa.

Hazel - 8 lbs!! How wonderful!! Keep it up, sweet little, but growing, Hazel!

Traci - glad you're doing better, and that baby Autumn is doing so well!!

Shannon - hope this is all over very soon, and you can get on the road to wellness and be back home! no jokes that I can think of, either...

Thanks for sharing your pics, Monica! LOVE the one with your dog! boob coma...

Thanks for the labour vibes, Joy, and !!!

Gotta go - chair's not that comfy for me, plus dh is starting to get annoying, wanting on...the computer, I mean...:LOL we'll have to try our labour-induction nookie tomorrow - that, plus the full moon...we shall see...!
My midwife says that many of her mamas go the day after the full moon. I'm not sure why that is...
I believe Kane was born the day after the moon was the fullest... it's what the nurses said and they usually deliver 4-5 babies a week and the day I went in there were 4 babies born and then the usual 4-5 babies so it was a busy week. They said you can usually count on the day after a full moon or a new moon look out!

Sooo, when again is the full moon?!? I hope it works for me!! I am ready!!

Hee-Hee, I am resorting to that! Even tho it is the LAST thing on my mind right now. I tried this morning, but ds got out of bed too early, dang it!! Tonight... I hope it helps!!

Congratulations Christi!! You beat me!!! I am happy she is here and all is well!! Take care!!

I'm just hangin' out...feeling like I am going to be pregnant my ENTIRE life!!! I went for a walk with ds last night and slipped on the snow and pulled my already pulled crotch muscle (sorry, I don't know what else to call it!) It is killing me now. I could hardly roll over in bed last night and it kills me to walk. Should make these last few days very pleasant!! : Better go. Take care everyone!!

Heve, I can't make the cute colors work, but thanks for the PM!

Congratualtions Christi! I'll update the list to add Viola Rose.

We took Hazel to the pediatrician today. They still won't do anything for the reflux, but they want me to do an elimination diet. I'm so annoyed. I'm not saying it won't help, but why can't they give her something to make her feel better too? I just worry about her being in pain, poor baby. So now I have to figure out what I can eat that has no caffiene, no dairy, no "gassy" foods, and no spicy foods in it. I seriously think my entire diet consists of those categories! If it will help her, I'll do it though. And she has a terrible rash all over her face, and they said it is normal baby acne, or perhaps the start of some excema, but it is hard to tell at this point.

I am almost afraid to post this in fear that I may jynk myself, but... I have contractions every 3-5 minutes for about an hour now. My kids were outside playing and they have slowed a little since they came back in the house, but dh will be home soon so he can distract them. I don't want to get my hopes up tooo high, but maybe this is the beginning!?! Oh, how I hope!! :

i've got my fingers crossed for you amber!! woo hoo! good luck!

Go, Amber! Labour vibes to you!!!
Well..... It's morning now and here I am at my computer.... WITHOUT a baby!! My contractions died out shortly after I was on here. I had a few more here and there but nothing regular. I've had a few more this morning also, but nothing more than I have been having the last 3 weeks!! : I am really starting to wonder if this baby is ever going to come!
