I love Feeding the Whole Family too. the cauliflower soup is great!And it's so nice that she is pro-bf and has nice recs for babies and toddlers foods.

I keep renewing the Better than Peanut Butter and Jelly one from the library...

and I love laurel's Kitchen for breadbaking, I learned about kneading from her...

we love the moosewood books, and for entertaining, rose elliott. Her Christmas cookbook is like a Martha Stewart dream for veggies...

I have Celebration of Wellness, too, and it's wonderful. It's a vegan book, with lots of unusual recipes, especially Southwestern. A lot of cookbooks are just too predictable.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I have a couple of veggie cookbooks that I love- Quick Vegetarian Pleasures and Moosewood Restaurant Lowfat Favorites. Both of these have already been mentioned, but I thought I'd give them my vote. Even my meateating husband raves about some of the things I've made out of there- of course when I make his dinner, I have to add a piece of grilled chicken or steak and serve our vegetarian main dish as a side to him:
