honestly, i thought her prices would be higher too. i was thinking about el bees the other day (imagine that). so, i'm guessing it takes 2 hours to make a dipe. just a guess. it may take more but binding and such takes a bit of time. and laura does have paid help. so, if she pays $8 an hour to her seamstress that's $16. and organic fabrics are more $$$ than non-organics. i'm not really up on fabric prices but say a diaper is $8 in fabrics, well, then that's already $24.
i think we are gonna see a trend in wahms increasing their prices. and i kinda think that they should. there will always be a market for more affordably priced dipes such as fuzzis and other wonderfully crafted wahm dipes. but, for those of us who like the occasional "luxury" dipes, well, expect to pay more.
oh, and it's totally cool that she is honoring the old prices with those already on the list. very, very nice.
