This happened about two weeks ago for a day or two, and then I noticed it last night and this morning. My thumb feels numb. The only thing I can find on this type of thing related to pregnancy is carpel tunnel syndrome. But it said that it usually happens around 5 or 6 months or so from fluid retention. I'm not really retaining extra fluids at this point...I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow and I haven't gained any weight really at this point and don't feel like I'm retaining water. Could this still be what it is? Anyone else have this happen?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Yes, I did two weeks ago. It's normal, has to do with fluid retention and swelling, and is possibly carpal-tunnel-related.

Okay, that's what I was thinking. It was just wierd because the first time it happened 2 weeks ago I had just gotten some blood drawn and at first thought I had some wierd reaction to getting my blood drawn, lol. It's not painful at least, just a little annoying.

Ugh, I agree--it's totally annoying!
