We are SO in need of $$$
I found SEVEN entries belonging to my millionaire uncle. I emailed my dad w the info (cuz I don't have my uncle's email and he is too busy too call him up). My dad just called me and said that Unc said, if I can collect them I can have them!!!! Woo-hoo!!!! In our state, the database just states "$25 or greater," but w that many entries it means AT LEAST $175. Woo-hoo. Woo-hoo. WOO-HOO. Did I say already I could sure use it? Did I say Woo-Hoo!!!! Oh good grief! 3 or 4 years ago, I found $1200 in my deceased grandmother's name. I gave all the info to my mom and thought she and her sisters had claimed it. Well, I just looked and it's still there! I think I need to give her a call....

I only found money owed to one person... My great grandmother who died last year.

My dh got some money like that last year! My dad saw a notice in the paper and there was his name. It wasn't a very big amount. It was some money owed to us by our apt. landlords a long time ago.

ETA: I just typed in some friend's names and found one owed money (doesn't say how much) and another one's IL's. Cool!

I have unclaimed dividends from Walt Disney stock in my maiden name - I don't think it's much $$$$ though, but I'm sending in the claim form.

Wow I've been searching for hours...

Nothing for me, but the state of Alaska owes him for "Alaska warrants." I almost don't want to claim it... I know that he has $80 still owed to him from a kid who stole his car and did some damage to it. I wonder if that's it...
