What do you crafty women use to write thank yous and other correspondence. I recently (finally) finished the last of the paper I had hoarded as a preteen obsessed with stationary! Thank goodness that ugly peach and teal paper is gone! Now I don't know what to do? I want to be sustainable and creative- but not too time consuming cause I got to get back to knitting...any ideas?

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I trade for it in craft swaps. Also, I traded some homeschool books I wanted to get rid of for a box of handmade notecards last year. These trades have all been done online, but it occurs to me that my neighbor makes nice notecards...I need to figure out something to trade with her.
Also, my kids are old enough to make all of our Christmas cards. A couple of years ago my then-6yo went through a paper-making frenzy -- we used a blender, scrap paper, dryer lint and a window screen as the major elements in this project, along with dried flowers and glitter.

I used to buy pretty paper with rose petals or whatever in the pulp.
I would get a bulk supply.
Then I would make envelopes with some of the paper (by just folding and glueing)
I would make cards by cutting the excess away and glueing a picture to the front and glueing a liner of white paper to the inside. You could get much more elaborate, but this is a simple and easy card craft.
I have done some with old book pages too of flower fairies that I carefully hand tore and glued down, then sprinkled with glitter.
It is inexpensive when all you buy is one bulk of some pretty paper and then use what you have on hand
I walked down the aisle of stamps at the craft store. I am not even going to go there! I can't imagine how much money I could spend if I got into that as a hobby for decroating cards!
EEK!
Also, in the summer, flatten some flowers and glue those to cards in the fall
