....with the VB Easy Pocket Diaper from sewdiapers.com. It is done with the VB AIO pattern. I can make one in an hour! It's soooo easy, and I suck with a sewing machine.

Pocket diapers
Not the best sewing job, but they stayed together AND they didn't wick.

I'm tempted to try an AIO now, but FIRST, I'm making the WIO on the sewdiaper site.

Thanks for looking.

Those look great! The pattern must be pretty good but it looks kind of wide through the stride to me. Have you considered narrowing it?

You did a really nice job!

Nice job mama! Is that PUL on the outside? Where did you get such cute PUL?

Not as of yet - the boys are heavy wetters, so I left it alone to allow for a bit more room for stuffing. I may narrow some down for the summer though.

I got it at A Cut Above Fabrics, formerly Suedecloth.net - it was easier for me to match the colors of the suedecloth that way, plus, less material to work with. I do suggest to anyone attempting to try this pattern in a Med. or Large, that they get the largest cut, or else you lose about 3/4 of an inch or more off your wings. Luckily, I don't need them to crossover, so it worked out just fine.

Oh, gee, maybe someday, when I can get my sewing perfected. I'm still trying to get used to my foot pedal *lol*. I still need to look into what it would take to be licensed through VB, and what startup costs, etc. would be.

Thanks again for all of the compliments.

Great job mama!! I wayyyy narrowed the stride on that pattern. It fit okay. I made mine side-closing, since Ds loves to tear off his dipes now-lol Hope you make lots more!!

mamabugx3 ~ ok, I've been looking at the pattern and I am wondering: at what points do you trim the stride? From elastic start to stop, or down a couple inches from said points? I'm just afraid of leaking/wicking if I take off too much, kwim? I still need to be able to stuff a pf in there.
