Can you Kool Aid dye a cover that is a color already?? I have a SP wool flannel cover in celery green and it seems to be turning a white color could I re-dye it?

Sure. But you will want to chose a color that is compatible with the celery color still remaining on the cover. In Kool-aid, there is a flavor called something like Arctic Green Apple that would work well. Most of the kool-aid colors are pretty bright red, turquoise, and yellow and will not look good mixed with a sage green IMO.

If you are willing to branch out to wilton cake decorating colors, I would suggest Moss Green or Cornflower Blue. The cornflower blue will give a bluey green color, the moss green a pretty natural green color. The procedure is much the same to dye with food coloring, just be sure to use vinegar in the dyebath.

Exactly. I had an oatmeal colored cover (KP Oatmeal Cashmere) and I koolaid dyed it deep red by using cherry. It turned out fabulous and I love it now!

Go for it, I'd probably go with dark greens or blues for a cover that color.
