Wierd, maybe there's a delay in energy between the Us and UK? I just woke up at 4am completely wired. Been writing a shopping list to stock up on groceries and frozen meals. Eating my pb sandwich and glass of milk (knocks me out every time!) and hoping to get back to sleep pretty soon. One of my biggest fears is I'll already be totally exhausted when I go into labour. I think it's why I gave birth in daytime last time; I neeeed my sleep!
the wierdest thing this morning i I don't feel pregnnat all of a sudden. Maybe it's just moved down so far, but my belly feels totally different and back pain is uddenly gone.
Saw the midwife yesterday and she said, "It's always a big big mitsake to say 'your baby is coming soon', but, well, this bbay is cooked and reday and coming soon".
It brouhgt me to tears it was such a relief to hear someone confirm my instincts. the babe is in perfect position and way down there, and I've lost bits of mucus plug. Went for a big huge walk in the woods yesterday trying to get things going, but nothing.
I feel a bit ambivalent about our doula and much better about her back up who is a good friend and who we wanted to work with originally, so I have a gut feeling this one is coming this weekend when the doula is away
Though I juts got an email offering free shiatsu for pregnnacy this sunday, mothering sunday here in england. I could so use that right now.
** weebitty, gorgeous baby!
** Amanda, good luck with getting that lil baby to turn.
** Birth announcments; we took a while last time but then we did a foot stamp and made colour copies of it (wasn't about to stamp DS's foot 60 times!) and stuck it onto nice card. many people still have those up in their homes
** Anyone giving gifts to older siblings when the little one comes along? Trying to decide on a back up gift if I don't get this little waldorf pixie doll made in time.
