My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

just noticed your post looking thru the archives...
i think mc'calls or simplicity has one. my mom made us them when we were kids and we still have them - complete with embroidered on hearts that say "I love you' in them. They are/were well loved and last great.
I still remember receiving my Andy on my 5th birthday and how much i hugged his soft body.

There's also a website called Grandmashouse which has old (some unopened, some used) patterns, including Raggedy Annies (although I think that they're a perennial pattern in the pattern catalogues so you should be able to find a pattern anywhere that sells patterns in your area). Since most fabric stores have a permanent "half off" on patterns anymore, and sometimes sales for significantly less, you may well be able to find the pattern, new, for less than a used on online (counterintuitive I know
). But, if you're far from fabric stores, her site would be a good one to check out.
(If you have a hard time finding the website, I found it by googling for vintage apron patterns). I've ordered from it, and the service is fast and you get what they describe on their site, too.
I just ordered a rag doll pattern from them which was from the '70's, I remember the doll my Grandma made us with the pattern and I think it will turn out well for Ina too. When I finally have time to sew it!!!
