Differences

I am looking WAY too much at the differences in this pregnancy and my others. Even KNOWING every pregnancy is different I keep trying to find reasons why this could possibly be a girl. It is driving me crazy that I keep doing this when I know better!!!

Anyone else with only boy(s)/girl(s) find themselves doing this?

no -- this pregnancy IS really different, but so far I've been thinking it is a girl. FWIW my mom has four girls. Her pregnancy with #3 was so different they didn't have a girls name picked. When Linda was born they were so surprised! and of course linda was followed by nancy :LOL

I am doing that too. This morning sickness is way different, much more severe than with the other two. And I had my first ever baby boy dream.

Not really. There have been different things about all my pregnancies and they are all girls. :LOL

I have had one baby dream so far. And deep down I have a feeling about what this baby is. But I'm not telling anyone. :LOL

I am certainly feeling differences with this pregnancy--I am so sick that it is like I have a disease. I've not been able to keep much of anything down; I've thrown up probably 20 times today, and when I'm not actually throwing up I'm retching just to produce spit. And, speaking of spit, I have an overabundance of it that is seriously disgusting.

Now that I am done complaining, I have to say that if *this* is what being pregnant with a girl is all about, my body does better with boys.

Blech.

I am doing that very thing! This pregnancy is already so different from my other three, which were all very similar- super easy pregnancies, no morning sickness or anything! Logic tells me yeah, they can all be different and I am ten years older this time... but I'm still convincing myself that it means I'm finally having my girl!

I only have one daughter, but this pregnancy IS very different. I have the all day nausea, but it comes and goes and is very mild this time. I've also LOST weight [and I've never thrown up!] and with my daughter I gained 6 pounds in the first 6 weeks. I have days where I feel GREAT, but with my daughter I always felt sick and blah. I'm also super duper sleepy this time, I was sleepy with my daughter, but not as much as I am with this one!
I wonder if it's a boy, or if it's just a healthy pregnancy [I had PIH/Pre eclampsia with my daughter], or if it's just different like all pregnancies are.

I'm definitely feeling different this time around. I'm not throwing up this time, and the nausea is just different feeling. It's more like persistent indigestion. I had vertigo in the early weeks really bad, and I didn't have that with my first. All of this leads me to believe that I could possibly have a girl this time, but I'm not going to spend too much time worrying about it either way. The thing that worries me is that I'm not as sick as I was with my first, so I wonder sometimes if this pregnancy is really going to last.
