Another bump in the road *sigh*

I just started taking Lexapro. I don't really know if it's working or not honestly. I can't really tell. I won't be able to stay on it though. What I had been taking was a sample package. Well, I went and filled my one month scrip...$70. I can't afford that at all. That's more than $2 a pill! I have insurance so I was expecting it to be around $25 or so. I just can't do $70. I have too many other things to pay that are just more important than that. Maybe I can switch to another kind that isn't so pricey.

Your Dr might just be willing to keep giving you the free sample packs. My Dad used to get hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of meds from his dr because he didnt have the ins to pay for it.

Let your Dr know! You never know!

Hey Sera,
How's it going?
You really think my Dr. would do that? I guess she wouldn't be losing any money right? She gets all that stuff for free anyway...
Huh..I just might have to do that then.

Im ok....ecited for Toni's bday. we are having cake sat. What have you been up to?

It cant hurt to ask. if after the month is over and you decide you still want to stick with that particular med, I say go for it. My dad used to come home with a BAG of "samples".
now that he has ins though he pays through the nose.
but if he didnt, he would be paying over 800$ just to be slightly sane.

But if you want to try another you can say you gave this one a good try. 4-6 weeks is plenty of time to notice a difference.
Although when I was on meds I never noticed a change until I went OFF of them, but the ppl close to me always thought i was doing better. *shrug Maybe I just expected to wake up all happy and high! lol
seriously though, if you dont notice a change ask your dh if he does.
