How long do you plan on waiting to tell people - Page 2

I pretty much told everyone I ran into that I was pretty sure I was pg even before the tests showed a positive, and I've since practically shouted it from the roof tops! It sounds soo funny to say "Yeah, I'm 12 days along..." Ha! We've gotten wonderfully pos. responses. I'm very grateful.

Other than the mailman, I think everyone knows now. What can I say, we're excited! Also, being sick, people start to ask questions, and unless you lie, you kind of have to tell. I swear, our playgroup at Gymboree has so many preg/newborn babes, someone new shows up pregnant every week! Plus, they might have started to wonder when I show up in maternity clothes, which I think will be next week, at this rate.

THankfully, we have very supportive friends and family, so no negative vibes to worry about.

I have an ultrasound on 4/11, and after we see a good heartbeat we'll probably start telling people then. We've told my parents, the in-laws, my sis, SIL, and I told one friend. That's it for now... Last time we waited till we heard the heartbeat on dopplar at about 10 weeks, but all my research says that there's a really low chance of miscarriage after heartbeat is confirmed by ultrasound - and its really, really low if the mom is under 30 (which I am).
