I agree with you. I just don't get it. This group is very conservative Christian homeschoolers and at least from my experience the vast majority of them circ.

Another possibility . . . Grandma may have been of the "Jerk it back and scrub it clean" mentality and caused damage to the foreskin of her son and then passed the same damaging information along to her daughter-in-law who also damaged her son's foreskins causing phimosis. The sad thing is that if these were all pathologically indicated circumcisions, there are simple stretching exercises that will stretch the foreskin opening to allow easy retractibility making the circumcisions unnecessary.
