It looks interesting and is pretty new. Debi

I just went and read through a bit of the 'highlights' page and was turned off by the poor-quality writing. It's filled with awkward sentence constructs, punctuation errors, faulty agreements in clauses, excessive use of quotation marks for emphasis, etc.. It's too bad, because what she's saying is worth hearing, but I just can't get past the amateurish style. I certainly hope she paid an editor to work on her book!

Miranda, I agree with you. Although I thought the concepts were interesting, I gave up after a few paragraphs and skimmed the rest. It was very poorly written and difficult to read.

Hmmm...I didn't have an issue with it, but it was the middle of the night, and I haven't been doing much "real" reading lately, so maybe my stardards are lower now. lol I still think it will be a good book...some real life stories. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Yeah... she's been posting on some unschooling lists touting her book, and I was also turned off by the poor quality of her writing...

same here. I can't read her posts to a certain email group without correcting her errors in the back of my mind. I could never read an entire book full of the same punctuation and grammatical errors, misspellings and typos! ACK (forgive me my mistakes, at least I'm not writing a book )
