Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds

Has anyone used Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds? How have you used it? How is this different from plain castile soap? A book I have has lots of cleaner recipes that require liquid castile soap, and it says "dilute if concentrated." Can I use the Sal Suds?

I use it and love it. I wash diapers in it, I scrub the bathroom and kitchen with it, I dust with it. It's great! The packaging tells the usage instructions. It says to use 1-1/2 teaspoons in a gallon of water to clean the house, or the same amount to wash a sink of dishes. 1/4 cup will do a load of laundry. (though I wouldn't suggest it if you don't like to smell like an evergreen) For extra heavy jobs, it suggests using it full strenght or cutting it in half. It is NOT for body uses, it is an all-purpose household cleaner. The difference is that it contains stronger cleaning ingredients and pine&spruce oils. I don't imagine that you would need to use it to make any cleaners with, as it is a great cleaner on its own!

This I took from the website, http://www.drbronner.com :

"Dr. Bronner's SAL SUDS is our hard-surface all-purpose cleaner. It is a balanced formulation of plant-based surfactants with natural spruce and fir-needle oils: it cleans and rinses with exceptional power, yet is mild and gentle on the skin. Sal Suds is equally effective in hard or soft water, rinsing freely, hot or cold. It is 100% cruelty-free: no animal testing. Sal Suds will biodegrade rapidly after it has done its job. "

I use Sal Suds also. On diapers and for the dishes, so far. The label tells you all you need to know. And they stopped putting colorants in it! It smells sooo good. But it is really mild so I think it would be a good base if you wanted to add essential oils, also.
